Check in was easy, the host was easily contacted and met us within 5 minutes. The cabin was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our stay was enjoyable with a fantastic view. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options delivered to our cottage by the host who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. I would highly recommend staying here. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!
