Hótel Vellir is a 3-star property situated on the outskirts of the capital city and only 36 km from the airport. Upgraded to 4 beds room with sofa and so much space. Love the clean white towels. Kettle in room and tea coffee sugar and creamer provided. Love the Free parking and good breakfast spread included. About half hour to airport and just nice for us to catch our next flight.

This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbour in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbour during winter. The interior is really cool! Even the restaurant has cool tables and chairs to sit. The hotel has easy access and it is next to the sea. It is recommended!
