Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. Everything was almost perfect! It was such a pleasant stay with nearly nothing negative to comment. My appreciation for the service and care I received at the Hotel. It did surpass my expectations~

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We were greeted with a welcome drink by friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has lots of local foods to sample. Highly recommend the wine tasting. Quality wines and a knowledgeable host.

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. everything is so good.During the breakfest , live music is unbeliavable .

The staff were fabulous. I was very stressed from travel problems when we arrived and the receptionist was so understanding and helpful and made a spread for us to eat. We were unsure if we were going to be able to get to a gig in the evening as so delayed from travel (the reason for going to Matera!) and she did everything she could to get us a taxi there, even intimating she would drive us herself if necessary! It was my birthday and they placed a bottle of fizz and 2 glasses in the room when they found out. The hotel was very peaceful, beautifully designed, with a perfect pool and where the staff would come out to you to ask of anything you wanted. The breakfast selection was wonderful, faultless, and they offer snacks in the day. This is a family run hotel where the personalised attention shows. It is 10 minutes walk from the stunning Matera town which has to be seen to be believed. Our room was spotless and with beautiful features - it faced the back with no real view but other larger rooms did have much more space and balconys.
