The ambiance of the outdoor onsen in the winter is very spectacular. They also have massage chairs and foot massages. The booking comes with delicious and sufficient buffet breakfast and dinner. When I couldn't book the airport shuttle because I could not speak Japanese well, the staff called them on my behalf and made sure that The room is very nice and clean. It's just a walk away from other onsen. You can 'rent' coat, boots, and towels for free if you want to walk outside and go to other onsen.

The outdoor hot spring was amazing to go in and the views were brilliant. The restuant I only went in for breakfast and yes it was expensive, but the food was absolutely amazing. Really good location with local walks neaby and very peaceful location.
