Staff was exceedingly friendly and caring, even checking multiple times if everything was alright with the room and the meals. The meals themselves were very nice, varied and delicious. The dinner had a large amount of meat for Japanese standards, which was nice. You can reserve the bath in advance for an hour, which is great. The bath itself is very hot and relaxing, I enjoyed it a lot. If I am ever back in Kamogawa, I will be coming back here.

It is close to great locations and without the maddening crowds but of course you need a car… My mistake was not to get my international driving licence before coming to Japan. I will come back!
