Staying at Roka Ryokan is a beautiful experience from the time you enter to the time you leave. Everything is well thought out and designed to maximize the enjoyment of guests. The hotel is new and provides a luxurious alternative to Bennesse Hotel on Naoshima Island. The rooms are very large and beautifully designed with all amenities including a Yukata for wearing to meals in the dining room and their own private bath. The meals are beautiful, delicious and visually exquisite down to exclusively designed seasonal dishes to serve the food not to mention the botanical extracts used to make the non-alcoholic beverages which are carefully thought out and highly recommended. We also enjoyed a sake pairing with our evening meal which was a treat but if I was to stay again I would have the non-alcoholic drink selection as one of our group did as it was very special. The staff are so friendly and accomodating but also completely professional. Roka offers a shuttle service to and from the port and Chichi museum ticket office which was very helpful indeed.

La vista me encantó porque daba al castillo y de noche también se veía muy lindo porque estaba iluminado (el castillo). Por las noches había udon gratis, todo el que quisieras comer, y estaba buenísimo, lo cual me salvaba porque a veces no sabía qué comer o dónde. También tenía desayuno incluido. El desayuno estaba ok. También tiene onsen y, si bien es chico, para mí estaba más que bien.
