We always spoke with the staff and went to Gros Islet with some of them a few nights! All of the recommendations we had outside of our itinerary were excellent. Cleanliness/Room: The hotel was always spotless as was our room was when we arrived. We had the king room with a balcony. The bed is absolutely massive (probably the size of 2 queen beds next to each other) and very comfortable. They would service our room without us asking. Amenities: we were given towels everyday for the beach and there’s a healthy breakfast provided with add ons if you want! Location: excellent location, really close to big shopping centres and great restaurants. Sol sanctum organised taxis for us and there’s natural beauty and landmarks nearby.

The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities that we might have needed (though the private bathroom was separate and not ensuite). Access to shared kitchen and a coffee/tea making machine available 24/7 was a nice bonus. Excellent breakfast on the terrace. Very helpful owners who arranged everything we needed (airport transfers, a boat trip to Klein Curacao etc). Most of all, welcoming atmosphere and genuine local spirit. Not everything was perfect, but we felt a part of the place and it was natural to blend in the local environment.
