Honestly this hotel was where I was at most peaceful, I think people don’t know about it much so it feels like it’s just you in the jungle. Which is exactly what I prefer. The pool was very clean. There were a few ants in the room but honestly we are in the middle of a jungle so there’s bound to be a few ants anyway. The staff is extremely extremely hospitable. They do not try to cheat you in anyway (mentioning cuz the other hotel I stayed at did). But the staff at Cottage Sigiriya was the best. Do not think twice definitely book this place.

Not so close to Kandy, but if I would return I’ll stay there for sure. The room was very big and comfortable with amazing view. Staff was extremely kind and food was the best of the entire journey! They arranged a romantic dinner for us on the rooftop! ❤️
