And there's a tuk-tuk available for going places for a reasonable price. The place belongs to and is run by a local family. They were very kind to me personally. :)

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite and it was absolutely amazing - incredibly comfortable and clean, the pictures online do not do how lovely this place is any justice, it is very beautiful.

The property was beautiful and located right on the edge of a lake. There were lots of birds on the water. I liked the treehouse style cabana. The owner was very kind and cooked a delicious dinner of rice and curry. She also organized an excellent Yala safari. My guide was Indu, and he was awesome and seemed to me that he had a great sense and love for the animals in the park. I think he was actually more excited about trying to find leopards than I was! We ended up seeing some leopards up close which I’ll never forget! Thank you for the great stay.
