The location was unique. The room was very comfortable , clean and the decoration was modern and beautiful .All the staffs were very friendly , they tried we have great times during our staying. They managed our Safari to Yala park , prepared and packed breakfast and lunch in the best way . meal and drinks was very good . we had pleasant time there

Together with his family he goes far and beyond to give you a wonderful stay by creating delicious meals, taking you out to see the lake, birds, bats and temple caves while telling interesting stories about the location and their histories. The room is spacious, clean and beautifuly decorated by his wife. We would highly recommend to stay here if you visit Tissamaharama or if you want to go to Yala national park.

I liked all the food I tried. Some of the juices are made with fresh fruits from their own garden. The staff can help you arrange the safari to Yala National Park and other tours if you need it. And there's a tuk-tuk available for going places for a reasonable price. The place belongs to and is run by a local family. They were very kind to me personally. :)

The staff was truly amazing and helped us with all our needs. We did the safari, and it was organized perfectly, in all the details. The guide did his best to show us all the animals at the national park. Breakfast, fresh fruit and water was ready for us for the safari leaving at 4:30am. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and in particular the dhal curry and the chicken curry were delicious. Probably the best food we had in Sri Lanka. They took us for a quick tour to the lake at the sunset to see the bats waking up and leaving from the trees. Really cool experience. The room was great, and very clean. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing with the nice garden in front of our room. Also the manager fixed a fair priced taxi for us with less than an hour notice. Wish I could have spend longer time there & highly recommend Village mango resort ....

Everything we needed was included and the driver got us to the front of the line as they had planned everything well the day in advance.

We received tea upon arrival and they helped us book a safari when we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable and the dinner was delicious. It was in a good location if you are doing the safari in Yala.

The staff went above and beyond themselves to make us feel welcome. We received a chilled coconut juice when we checked-in and they also took us on a free bird watching tour in the afternoon. When you need to go anywhere, they‘ll also help you out by getting a tuktuk or even driving you yourself. The breakfast was exceptional. The safari we had booked via the hotel was also great. We got a small breakfast despite the early pickup time and a knowledgable guide who tried his best to make our experience memorable.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and had excellent water pressure as well. The hotels safari they organized for us was also excellent and yielded great results. The staff were so accommodating and kind. They also served the best food we had in Sri Lanka. And on top of it the WiFi was super fast. This was hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka.
