The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The room and the balcony offered comfy chairs to seat and read or relax. I felt surrounded by nature and with privacy in my own space. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The property is on solar energy and well water so you don’t get any of the normal water and electric cuts that happen all the time in the capital city even in the most expensive hotels. The location is also very close to wonderful attractions such as Nosy Soa, Mandraka Park, Peyreiras Reserve and Mantasoa Lake. It is halfway to the east coast and the attractions including Andasibe. We enjoyed hot water, good internet, good food and clean comfortable accomodations. The location is safe and a local family is always on hand to help and give guided tours. The fireplaces in our room and in the foyer were special treats! We also saw completely wild Bamboo lemurs in the host’s regenerated forest, the beautiful Hoopoe birds, the Scopus Umbretta bird which took over a year to build its incredible nest, the crested Drongo and much more!
