The location is remote, surrounded by a fantastic selection of wild-life. The grounds were immaculate! Even though most of the trees in the surrounding area are, what we call "Devil Thorn Trees", they were all raked away. The staff (shout out to Josie) were incredible. We were visiting with an infant and they made sure we were as comfortable as possible. I let the lodge know that we intended to braai (BBQ) the second night and they provided us with the braai drum as well as a bag of wood! 110% will be staying there again, next time for a week!

Bay View Resort Hotel is located between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund on a beach overlooking Atlantic Ocean. The views from the room were amazing, especially on a breathtaking sunset. The room itself was spacious and equipped with anything one could ask, the bathroom and the bedroom promising a luxurious stay. A great experience overall, stuff was helpful and friendly and the restaurants food was really, really good. A 5 star accommodation on the best value for money stay we had in Namibia.

They even called to book for us at places we wanted to go to, recommended great restaurants around the area.

It is what it says -- a great little hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pictures are true... our patio door walked right out onto that lovely green lawn and then to the beach. It was great that they offered a family room, it had a nice patio and small fridge and coffee/tea station. It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.

Located at the promenade with views of the ocean, Strand Hotel Swakopmund features a spa, 3 restaurants and bars. It offers a 24-hour front desk and conference facilities. Great location directly at the beach. Nice ocean view room. We got a room upgrade for free!! Good dining possibilities in two restaurants

Swakopmund Sands pakub vaateid Atlandi ookeanile ning asub lühikese jalutuskäigu kaugusel sadamasillast ja National Marine Aquariumist. Kohapeal on lounge ja baar. everything perfect - the room was excellent, quiet and the bed big and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful - easy reach of the tug and jetty restaurants, just a few minutes walk along the seafront. Perfect place to stay in Swakopmund and reasoonably priced. Will definitely return on our next visit!
