Ombe Guestfarm and Safari was a very welcoming and friendly place. Katrin and Florin could not be more accommodating, they went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. They ate with us at mealtimes and gave us an insight into life in Namibia. The food was beautifully cooked home/local produce. It is really interesting place to stay, we were given unrestricted access around the farm to see how they lived and worked.

Like a fairy tale. Every detal is thought of. Lovely design. The hostess Merisa is absolutely fantastic! She told us many interesting things about the farm and living in Namibia. Mrs. Merisa cooks very delicious food. We enjoyed a 3 course dinner. And breakfast was also really good. All the food is fresh, homemade and individual. The rooms are spacious, new and modern. Very private place, because there is only one guest house, which consists of 2 rooms. So, only 2 couples at a time. Lovely cat Victoria and a dog Peety 😀 The farm has domestic animals and wild too. So, there is a nice game drive, who would like to spend the time more interesting than resting by the pool. Mrs. Merisa is very intelligent, elegant and lovely lady. Always smiling, always checking, if we were good and comfortable. It was an amazing stay, something else than all the other experience in Namibia. I think, it would be very good choice for everybody just to know the life of locals and to be pampered by attention and love 😀

We can certainly recommend the lodge, especially the cottages which are much bigger than stated at booking.com. Food was the best we had in Namibia. Most staff were very responsive and friendly.
