Very clean. Staff was excellent! Food and coffee in the restaurant was great. The grounds were immaculate, a beautiful foreground for the absolutely stunning view of the volcano available from each and every room.

The private rooms were huge and clean, this place was even nicer than on the pictures, and you can organize your whole trip at their reception, you can rent atvs, bikes. You can get breakfast and dinner, and also snacks at the common area.

Santo Domingo Beach is a 7 minute walk from the property. - set in a beautiful setting, surrounded by lush gardens and wild life. Good views from the restaurant. - Good food. - the staff who work here are very attentive and super helpful for a stress free stay. Helped with organising transport and moped hire.

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Hotel San Juan Ometepe is located in Altagracia, just 2.3 km from the main road. I really enjoy the location near to the beach and the spectacular view to the volcano. I will definitely return soon to Hotel San Juan.

Located on the beach in the San Fernando, 800meters north of Santo Domingo and 1km south of Santa Cruz,, Xalli Hotel features a sun terrace and views of the lake. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay here and they helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent and the room was really nice too. I highly recommend this hotel.

Set in Santa Cruz, less than 1 km from Santo Domingo Beach, Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Los Cocos provides fairly basic accommodations but what sets them apart is the quality of the staff. Marlon, his family and his staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. The food is typical Nicaraguan fare cooked beautifully with generous portions. We were always met with smiles. As we are practiced our Spanish, the Los Cocos team were patient and worked with us to ensure that expectations were well communicated. They spent time with us and got to know our children. The space is incredibly safe and the location is excellent, being directly across from playa Santa Cruz and the Saturday market. If you need a taxi, Marlon is more than willing to drive you wherever you need to go in a comfortable pick up truck. He can help you arrange horse tours, vehicle rental, kayak tour, hiking tour and whatever else you can imagine on the island. We have returned to Los Cocos twice, and we couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel on Isla de Ometepe!

Situated in Mérida, 3.6 km from Maderas Volcano, Caballito's Mar features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. The location is super nice! Every evening you can watch the sunset over the lake. Also the food in the restaurant is amazing and for the free breakfast you can just choose from the menu and have a juice or another drink with it. The staff is super helpful with arranging taxis, scooter rentals, kayak tours etc. Would defenitely recommend this hostel!

Cabañas Privadas Dilany in Moyogalpa features 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. We absolutely LOVED this place - we have been travelling for 5.5 months and this is the first time we felt at home. Javier and his family are amazing, they really looked after us and helped us organise absolutely everything we needed on the island. Javier's Mum also cooks dinner which is so cheap, and the BEST breakfast pancakes ever. Her cooking was so good that we had dinner there every night ha ha. Honestly we are so happy we stayed here, it was such a beautiful experience. They also have a pool table and a beautiful beach bar with amazing views of sunset every night.

The staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was clean and spacious. I loved their big hammock outside :)
