Reyna and her staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was clean and modern, with great pillows and linen. The wifi was good and there was a fabulous view of the volcano. Excellent.

Hospedaje Soma Ometepe Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Moyogalpa. We booked a bungalow with no air conditioning - when we arrived we really thought that was a mistake so tried to upgrade to an airconditioned room but there were none available, however we found that the fans were sufficient as the property has a lot of trees and catches the breeze so it wasn't too hot at all. The rooms were a good size. We really loved the space. The pool was nice to cool off in and the onsite open air restaurant was great to relax in when we didn't feel like going into town. Breakfast was good and convenient also. Staff were helpful and helped arrange motobike hire and taxi transfers etc. Access to a 24hr bar fridge was a bonus also - so even if the bar was closed we could still get a cold beer etc. I'd definatley stay here again.

Buena Onda Backpackers is set in San Juan del Sur. Built in 2008, Free WiFi is provided. The view over San Juan del Sur und the sea was great, there were plenty of places to chill and the bed was big and comfy. The kitchen was also well equipped. The staff was very kind and helpful and the included breakfast was a dream!
El Encanto Garden Hotel

El Encanto Garden Hotel is located in Santa Cruz. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Santo Domingo Beach is a 7 minute walk from the property. Amazing view from the common area, good breakfast. Carolina and Josh are awesome hosts! Wifi works perfectly and you could work from there without any problem (with volcano view, of course). Comfy rooms. We could rent a motorbike with them and they gave us great tipps for things to do around the island! The kitchen has everything you need as well. Close to shops, restaurants and Santa Cruz Beach (3 mins walking), but very quiet. Lots of hammocks and rocking chairs to chill! Would definitely come back :)

Facing the beachfront, Stella Mar Oceanfront Hotel offers 5-star accommodation in Popoyo and has a garden, terrace and bar. Each room is fitted with a balcony with sea views and free WiFi. The property was in a prime location, was spotlessly clean including the communal kitchen, had friendly staff and had very thoughtful touches in each of the rooms e.g. the brightness of the ceiling lights could be adjusted. Being able to walk to the water in seconds and then return to the hammock on the balcony was bliss. There’s a small, quiet bar open next door to watch the sunset and two great cafes for breakfast/lunch within walking distanced as well as a small shop.

Tukasa was of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in. The volunteers were so nice, and everything was so clean and comfortable! You could tell the hostel was intentionally built because there were many thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it above and beyond.

This place was everything and more than i expected.. the staff, the property, location! The owners🙌🏾. Literally everything about this place was absolutely fantastic! The were booked out the next day and I went for a party the night before! They went out their way to do everything they could to let us get proper rest and then have us check out.. I would stay here again and again..
