Staff helped me with bike rental suggestion and an option that enhanced my visit to the Sloedam Causeway memorial. We asked if we could drop off our suitcase 6 hours before check in time. The owner kept them for us till we came back to the hotel later that evening. He also offered a better room when we arrived, which we gladly accepted.

Hôtel Le Beau Rivage is a lovely property with a lot of charm located near the river and main part of town as well as very close to the train station. The owner/staff were very welcoming and kind, and the room was extremely clean and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Middelburg.

Villa Magnolia is situated at the Walcheren coast, in a quiet area near Oostkapelle (half a mile) and Domburg (2 miles). The beach is half a mile away. What a delightful place to stay, very welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. A lovely peaceful setting near a few small villages and close to the sea. Breakfast was excellent and set up in a special building with lovely glass windows and a view to the garden. We definitely recommend this as a beautiful quiet place to stay with excellent staff.

From $141 per nightLovely clean and well-furnished apartment for the two of us. Massive sofa big enough for watching TV, reading or snoozing. Walking distance from town centre to visit restaurants, cafes, sights, and shops. Had all the kitchen facilities and utensils we needed for self-catering, for the times we did not want to go out for meals. Stairs to climb but large windows created light and airy space, without passers-by looking in. It was a great base for us to explore Middelburg, as well as cycle around other Walcheren towns and villages.

The first room we got was not completely suitable due to our circumstances but Carmen from the reception was super kind to help us a lot and arrange another room. Thanks to her we had a fantastic and comfortable stay and we are really grateful to her. In general the hotel has a fantastic location and a really good breakfast and it's worth staying here.
