Housed in a building from 1873, this hotel is found in Lillesand’s picturesque harbour. Rooms offer a mix of old-world charm and modern comforts such as flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Very professional yet cosy hospitality, gorgeous interior with fine detail and delicious breakfast. Will hopefully be back on our regular trips from Oslo to Stavanger.

Set by the seaside in the picturesque Risør town centre, Risør Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and room with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with bath or shower. Risør Aquarium is 50 metres away. The room was lovely, warm and really clean. The breakfast was delicious, especially the crispy bacon and eggs! The reception was lovely but as it was quiet season it was only open to allow us to check in. The location is wonderful, right on the water and close to bars and restaurants.

Located by the Byglandsfjord, this hotel offers a private swimming area, terrace and boat rentals. Wi-Fi and parking are free at Revsnes Hotel. Fantastic breakfast included for early or late starters. Had a lovely buffet dinner the night we arrived and cold beer. Tea/coffee facilities available in foyer and room. Games room with many games, and large public lounge room. Interesting Norwegian historical items scattered throughout the hotel. Norwegian country decor. Very quiet at night. Lovely pier to sit over fjord at night.

Set within 5 minutes’ drive of Hovden Ski Centre & Water Park, Hovdestøylen offers rooms and self-catering apartments with free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and sofas. Everything was so beautiful, the whole room was gorgeous and all the staff were so nice and patient with me and my familiy, i'm pretty sure ill be back soon to repeat the wonderful experience, thank you for the great service!

Situated 500 metres from central Grimstad, this property is 45 km from Kristiansand. It offers free Wi-Fi and free on-site private parking. Breakfast was outstanding; very large selection of hot and cold dishes. Checking in was easy; very helpful staff

Overlooking the Galtesund strait, this hotel is located in the historical district of Tyholmen in central Arendal. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and free gym access. Its my second time in the hotel. I would say it is near to where I needed to be but in Arendal everything is near....Lovely hotel. Fab without being pretentious, breakfast to die for (best we've had in Norway), views are fantastic, rooms uber comfy. Bath is spotless and well heated...All in call - a winner on all fronts. Oh...and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
