Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. The hotel features breathtaking lake and mountains view. The dinner was delicious with a number of different options for a fair price. The hotel has a history and a lot of nice old decorations well saved till now. The room(in the annex) has a good shower, heating, fridge, kettle and a professional hardier. The breakfast is good. There are hot tea and coffee available at reception throughout a day, you can have a take away lunch and coffee quite cheap. There is a boat available for guests free of charge.

Hotel Alexandra Loen is located in Stryn and offers majestic views of the surrounding mountains and fjords. The family-run hotel and offers free WiFi and parking. Loen Skylift is a 5-minute walk away.... I loved the whole atmosphere of the place, cleanliness, relaxing scents etc. I stayed between sunday and tuesday, so I had the hotel and the spa mostly for myself. It was perfect timing and all staff was very caring.

Very well located at 5km from the visitor center and Niegardsbreen. The woman at the reception was very nice and welcoming. I slept very well, the place was very quiet and the room very confortable. Good breakfast!

Situated amongst nature and directly on Nordfjord’s waterfront, this hotel is about 1 km away from the town of Olden’s cruise terminal. It offers free WiFi, Norwegian cuisine and fjord views. Very nice hotel. Our rooms had an amazing view in the fjord!

Great proximity to the water. Also to the Glacier. We had a cabin with bathroom. We didn’t get a chance to use the boats but also a nice add on Great reception.
