Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodation includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. We stayed 2 nights in two separate rooms and it was one of the best hotels we visited in Norway during our 2-week trip. One of the rooms had a kitchen which we clearly liked more in comparison with the other smaller one without kitchen. We particularly liked the lovely staff enthusiastically answering the phone and the fish soup at the restaurant which we ordered twice in a row. The fish main dish was wonderful as well.
Husum Hotel

Situated in Borgund, 1.7 km from Borgund Stave Church, Husum Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Guests can make use of a bar. Arrived very late in the evening after only booking an hour or so beforehand. I'd already missed dinner but the very helpful staff made me a sandwich and had beer available so all was good. Room was spotless, bed was comfy. Breakfast was delicious. I wish it was not such a fleeting visit!

Located in Stryn, 50 km from The Old Strynefjell Mountain Road, Lodgen Stryn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Such a nice place to stay! Very friendly atmosphere, perfect cleanliness everywhere, comfy common spaces, beautiful garden, small but cozy rooms. It was our first experience of staying in accommodation with shared bathroom and kitchen, I was a bit worried if it would be convenient, but my worries were absolutely groundless. To be honest, I would rate this place higher than some 4 star hotels during our trip.

Featuring a garden, Værlandet Havhotell is located in Hamna. The hotel also provides free WiFi and free private parking. It was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful location and extremely nice room equipped with everything you need, plus a terrace and impressive views to the ocean and the rocky Alden. We hiked around the island and had a relaxing time in the room enjoying the stormy weather. We also got very good breakfast and dinner. And Elin was incredibly friendly and helpful! It was really the perfect weekend getaway!

Located by the Råeimsdal River in Viksdalen Valley, Tuftegarden offers rooms and apartments with free WiFi access, fully equipped kitchens and private patios. Great location with beautifully crafted cabins and hotel rooms. Very open and friendly hosts. All around an amazing stay and worth staying multiple days, definetly my favorite place I encountered on my vacation.

Extremely charming hotel full of history in a beautiful and quiet Fjord. Straight from a postcard! Has been led by the same family for 300 years, amazing hosts. Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. This was one of our favourite stays on our Norway road trip. The feel of the hotel is "old fashioned" but just lovely. And the view from our room was just stunning. We also loved our evening meal and walk around the grounds. It's not a 5* chain hotel but we loved the more personal feel about it.
