This was a fabulous place to stay. The owner does walking safari and this was amazing and we got to see rhino’s. The facilities are basic but the showers are hot. If you are looking for 5 start this is not for you. It js a step back into nature and a beautiful setting. The meals are fantastic and there is an fire pit in the evening to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Boasting a garden, Hotel Peacock - Family Running Hotel is set in Sauraha and also provides a terrace and a bar. One of the best places we stayed on my Nepal trip with me boys. Very comfortable rooms, very clean, great location and great aircon and ceiling fans which were much needed after hot days on safari/buses. They provided breakfast for good price and was fresh and great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they have a well stocked supermarket at the front. Very happy we stayed here and would recommend to others indeed.

Price quality is pretty good the owner was very friendly and welcoming and helps me arranging the safari tours to Chitwan National Park. The pick up from the bus station was one of the best that you can used especially arriving from a long bus journey. The rooms were perfect plenty of space. Although I only got a fan room, believe me it is more satisfying, airconditioning wasn’t necessary. The wifi works very well inside the room so for bloggers looking for a perfect internet connection this is the place to be. The bathroom is huge as well with good shower and hot water. There’s a kettle inside the room, hangers and one free bottle of water. If you want the room to be clean up just left the key at the reception and when you come back everything is cleaned.
