Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. Room was spacious, very clean and had an amazing view of snow-capped mountains. Beds were luxuriously comfortable. Everything was as new and in immaculate condition. Great for even the fussiest of people. The continental breakfast was much better than expected and included cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs as well as a wide range of cereal, with preserver fruit and yoghurt, not to mention coffee and a choice of several fruit juices.

The dogs were amazing for me missing my dogs at home. The cows and Alpacas were a bonus delight! I wish I could have stayed longer.

The Studio at Northfield is set on 4 acres of gardens and paddocks on the edge of Methven/Mt Hutt Village. The property features mountain and garden views and offers free WiFi and parking. The Mrs was happy happy happy. Great little place to stay.

The room was the same as the pictures and felt cosy. The host was friendly and welcomed us warmly. What I like the most is the bathroom, which comes with a bathtub. The kitchen is small, but it has everything we need.
