Modern, clean, and comfortable rooms with lots of space. The staff was exceptionally nice and flexible. The location is fantastic affording great views. Highly recommend!

The views from the room were great. The treatment given by the staff was wonderful and the location of the hotel was convenient. Breakfast (served at the room) was good too.

Set in Mount Cook National Park, The Hermitage Hotel features a range of rooms and suites all offering majestic mountain views, and most with views of Mount Cook. Great view of Mount Cook from the room. Telescope provide for closer look at Mount Cook and the stars at night.

The Godley Hotel offers country-style accommodation in the alpine village of Lake Tekapo on the South Island. The hotel is centrally located in the village with views of the lake and mountains. the views were stunning. very quaint township

MacKenzie Country Hotel is located in Twizel, in the heart of the Aoraki Mount Cook and MacKenzie Country Region. It offers modern rooms with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. The property is very well maintained even though is not new. The front desk is very helpfull. Good location.

The Heritage Gateway Hotel is situated in Omarama, at the crossroads of MacKenzie Basin, Lindis Pass and Waitaki Valley. It offers panoramic views and excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Hot breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip to New Zealand. Can’t say enough how great the staff was!

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. The rooms very modern and clean! The kitchen area was well stocked and the bathroom had great soaps and had a fantastic shower and tub. The best part however was having the huge window that had a stunning view of mount Cook!! Just amazing!! Also having laundry available was great! (Does cost $4 for wash, $5 for dry but really nice quick machines!) Beds were comfortable and location was awesome. Only a 3 min drive or a 25 min walk to Hook Valley Trail. (And 5 min drive to Mt Cook airport for Heli adventures) Great walking trails behind the hotel as well and several decent food options around the area.

This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.
