Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. There really is nothing like this .. it's a time warp, eclectic reality.... it's a collection of curiosity A big story... Bed comfy and very interesting decor.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. The view was spectacular and the room was wonderful. I loved how the bathroom was so separate from the bedroom so middle night visits didn’t wake each other up.

Situated in Arthur's Pass and only 300 metres from Arthur's Pass National Park, The Tussocks, Arthur's Pass features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing location! Peaceful and serene. No one around. An older cottage, but with modern facilities (fantastic bathroom, newer washer/dryer machines, comfy beds --enough for at least 4 people, probably more--, cozy living room with wood stove). Close enough to the 1 restaurant and 1 cafe/shop in Arthur's pass (1-minute drive), but away from the road so there's no traffic or other people. Great hosts with great communication.

Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden and a barbecue. I absolutely loved my stay at Jackson's Retreat. Excellent facilities all round. Perfectly set up. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were exceptional.

The view and the extremely comfortable bed, it’s so much better in real than in the picture, very tastefully designed

The best sleep I had the entire trip in NZ, with heated mattress and the softest pillows. The room itself is cozy and has all basic facilities and more

Set in Otira and only 12 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, Basic, Super 'Cosy' Cabin in The Middle of National Park and Mountains offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private... A great stay in a great location! We were thankful to have our own cabin to stay in the Otira/Arthur’s Pass area. Gary and Dawn were very helpful and took extra time to ensure that we were aware of what to expect from the cabin, what to make sure to bring, and that we were able to check in without issue. They were proactive and made extra effort to ensure a comfortable stay. They were also very quick to respond to any inquiries ahead of and throughout our stay. Check in and check out were super easy, and Gary and Dawn provided clear instructions and followed up so there was no doubt about getting in and out without issue. On chilly evenings, it felt like a luxury to be able to light a fire in the fireplace. There is also a heater if you need it, but the cabin is well-insulated enough that the cosy hut stayed warm enough through the night long after the fire went out. The kitchen is equipped with the appliances and accessories for preparing meals in the cabin. The cabin is spacious, has a full bathroom inside, and towels and linens are included. We were also surprised at how strong and fast the wifi connection is. Located in the beautiful mountain area, you can view the mountains from the cabin and on a clear night, the stars pop in the sky because it is far from light pollution. An all-around great deal for the area and a great home-base while exploring Otira and Arthur’s pass!

I am glad that we checked in late and it was accomodated. We met nice new Zealanders while staying here. Thank for the memory
