Conveniently set in Coimbra, Hotel Mondego provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. This 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The rooms are large, comfortable, and extremely clean. The breakfast was fantastic, everything was fresh, and the outdoor space was perfect. The staff was always willing to help and give advice about the stay. The hotel is right next to the Coimbra train station.

Featuring a bar and a terrace, Sapientia Boutique Hotel is set in Coimbra, 600m from S. Sebastião Aqueduct and 400m from University of Coimbra. Located in the historical town of Coimbra, this hotel has convenient (although limited) free parking on the main road. The Staff was extremely kind. We were greeted with some refreshments upon our arrival. A really nice gesture after a long road trip. Every room is themed after a writer, we had books in our room, a leaflet with a bedtime story and complimentary water… and the bed time chocolate. Our room was spotless, spacious and very nicely decorated with amazing river views. Breakfast, served on wooden tables, had a great variety of sweet and savory. Everything was delicious. The entire hotel is decorated like a home, so every corner makes you feel at home!

This 5-star hotel is situated in a historic palace. Quinta das Lágrimas offers 3 room types: Palace Rooms once accommodated the Duke of Wellington and Garden Rooms overlook the botanical garden. The location is great and the place is exceptional. The building is an historical place, and very well renovated. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. The breakfast served in the garden is delicious and the big swimming pool is ideal to chill and relax. finally the staff is very welcoming and friendly. It’s the best hotel we’ve been to in Portugal.
