Cabins are quiet, have wonderful views and are surrounded by nature while still being accessible to the main towns. The fit and finish of the grounds is wonderful. Cabins are very modern like an Eco-spa may have including air conditioning, private decks and kitchens.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. the grounds and views were amazing! nicely kept hotel rooms too.

This hotel is 200 metres from the shopping area of Velas and 1 km from the harbour. It features a terrace overlooking the garden, the outdoor pool, and the Atlantic Ocean. Great location within walking distance of places in town, lovely views and pool, good breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

At the foot of the São Jorge Mountains, Hotel Solmar is less than 100 metres from the coastline. Its air-conditioned rooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean, Calheta Harbour or mountains. The room was clean and very spacious, equipped with an a/c which was very welcome in July. :) The location is great, close by a supermarket and restaurants. Good breakfast!

The yurt was a one of a kind experience & it being in between all that green made it even more special. Every morning there was a fresh homemade breakfast with products they grew themselves. We got good tips for places to visit & help whenever we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone & if we ever return to São Jorge, then we will definitely book here again. Very sweet little studio (Apt. 1), nice terrace and garden, amazing view. Fernanda and Miguel are very kind hosts, they offered me a ride a few times and even picked me up once. Communication was always very easy.
