This accommodation is one of many reasons why I am looking forward to coming back to São Jorge. We could see that it was important to Jorge to present the place in a good light and it was indeed a very pleasant experience to be there. Everything was great and I have no regrets about choosing Cabanas da Viscondessa for our stay.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. the grounds and views were amazing! nicely kept hotel rooms too.

This hotel is 200 metres from the shopping area of Velas and 1 km from the harbour. It features a terrace overlooking the garden, the outdoor pool, and the Atlantic Ocean. The view was amazing. Location was excellent. Right across the street from Car Rental. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to many good restaurants and natural pool. 10 out of 10 for the staff…when we checked out at 6 am, it was raining so hard, the guy on duty at the front desk drove us to the ferry….(we had planned to walk to the ferry, and had not booked a taxi, so instead of letting us walk in the rain, we were grateful for the offer to drive us…he went above and beyond!!)

At the foot of the São Jorge Mountains, Hotel Solmar is less than 100 metres from the coastline. Its air-conditioned rooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean, Calheta Harbour or mountains. The room was clean and very spacious, equipped with an a/c which was very welcome in July. :) The location is great, close by a supermarket and restaurants. Good breakfast!

Varandas do Basalto se găsește în Queimada și are vedere la munte, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. The apartment is very comfortable with plentyspace, the owner was very kind and helpful. Very well located.

Cantinho do Piano are unități de cazare în Velas. Unitățile sunt dotate cu climatizare, un televizor cu ecran plat cu canale prin satelit, un cuptor cu microunde, un ibric electric, un duș, articole... This hotel was wonderful, I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Sao Jorge. The woman who ran the place was so kind and friendly. She let me check in early (I'm sure it's not always possible) and she gave me restaurant recommendations and told me a bunch of places to go see that were walking distance around town. The room was well decorated, comfortable, and modern. It was great to have a desk. The bed was really comfortable, so if you like beds that are a little soft, this was a good one. The shower was really good. There was a shared kitchen for guests to use, and even though I didn't really use it, it looked good and if I was staying longer, I would've made a few meals. The fridge in the kitchen had individual trays for each room so you could put stuff in there and keep yours separate from everyone else's, that was a nice touch. Overall this was a really fantastic hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I ever get back to Sao Jorge.

I loved everything about our stay. The yurt was a one of a kind experience & it being in between all that green made it even more special. Every morning there was a fresh homemade breakfast with products they grew themselves. We got good tips for places to visit & help whenever we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone & if we ever return to São Jorge, then we will definitely book here again. Natacha, thank you for everything! It was a pleasure to be your guest.

Abrigo da Cascata - Casas de Campo - São Jorge se află în Calheta și pune la dispoziție vedere la mare, o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și facilități de grătar. Beautiful setting on the sea. A truly unique escape.

Quinta da Magnólia AR se găsește în Urzelina și oferă unități de cazare cu terasă sau balcon, WiFi gratuit și televizor cu ecran plat, precum și o piscină în aer liber sezonieră și o grădină. Great place to spend time on Sao Jorge Magnolia has wonderful staff that looked after all of our needs while on the island. The property is exceptional and the room we had with the hot tub overlooking the ocean was incredibly beautiful. Nice touch with the sparkling wine on my birthday Thank you will highly recommend and hope to return once day.

Situada em Velas, a Casa dos Lagos - RRAL nº 2187 oferece acomodações com WiFi gratuito e um jardim com terraço e vista para o jardim. Leodora was very nice and allowed us an early check in. The apartment was clean and tidy. Lots of linens provided. The air conditioning was great. Unit was spacious and specifically our bathroom was renovated (we chose based on the photos). Amenities were good (kitchen utensils and cookware, washer, drying clothes rack, hair dryer). We were also given a nice late check-out. You can walk to city center along sidewalk down hill it takes about 20 minutes. But maybe take a taxi uphill !
