All so clean and well maintained— unlike the other places we’ve stayed at! He is also available to help and has a wonderful shop downstairs. If you arrive empty handed you can purchase basic food items. Very quiet place.

Moleiro de Baçal is a stone country house located in Baçal, 7 km from the city of Bragança, and offers comfortable bedrooms. Free WiFi access is available. Very nice and very friendly service very good stay will return no problem.

With a heated outdoor swimming pool, the family-run A Lagosta Perdida is located in Montesinho Natural Park. It features a horse riding school 8 km from the property and a 24-hour reception. Everything was perfect. Room, location, and especially the host, Robert. He cooked for us and it was delicious. He made our stay way better than we expected.

The accomodation is situated in the old village of Montesinho, which is beautifully preserved. It is situated in the Montesinho Natural park, an area great to walk and do sightseeing. The location is very calm, ideal to disconnect and enjoy nature. The house itself is very charming and well-furnished, it has a beautiful garden with horses at the back. Alberto was very helpful with any questions I had, and there was even some local produce (e.g. bread, honey, coffee) ready upon my arrival.

Providing a terrace, Varandas da Capela provides accommodation in Tuizelo. Fitted with a balcony, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bath or shower. This is an incredible find in a beautiful, very rural area. The building is a converted manor house and the rooms are spacious. The owner is extremely hospitable and her daughter-in-law speaks perfect English and is a great resource. You will feel like you are a member of the community because you are--Tuizelo is a small and welcoming village. Many nice hikes in the area--ask Sara. Vinhais is close by with a historic old town and several restaurants.
