Hotel Arcanjo is housed in a 19th century building that combines traditional and modern design. It is ideally situated 50 metres away from the beachfront, south of the São Miguel Island. Very friendly and helpful staff. They provided us with iron, wine glasses and bottle opener which was very appreciated. We also got recommendation for nice local restaurant we enjoyed. Rooms were nice and clean, with nice window views towards ocean.

We really enjoyed our stay, warm welcome, always smiling girls on the reception. we liked the food in the bar, they serve light meals. and it was so pleasant to sit there in the evening. listen to live music and eat octopus salad (highly recommend!!). special thanks to the hotel for the small robe for my daughter to use it for thermals.

Reasonsble dinner prices even cheaper then in other restaurants on the iceland. Extremely friendly staff. The only small complaint is the narrow street that you have to take back to the facility after dinner, but that can also be avoided by having dinner in their restaurant. You will not be sorry.
