The personnel were very helpful and made us feel welcome. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, had a great variety and was perfect for starting the day. There is also a restaurant on the premises that offers a la carte menu. We arrived at dinner time and had a large selection of dishes to choose from - all fresh and very tasty.

Very quiet place, you can have a full rest. There is a refrigerated display case with drinks. I recommend for bikers, safe place to park and close to Transalpina.

Next to the restaurant there is a kids playground so you can enjoy a coffee or beer right next to tour kids playing. Host and staff were very kind and professional.

Offering a large, 20.000 squares metre outdoor space with a private park, Conacul Bunicilor is located in Baia de Fier. Free WiFi access is available. This was a perfect place for us to stay the evening before driving the Transalpina Road. The property is absolutely beautiful, the owners and their staff are awesome, and our room was extremely comfortable. We had the most delicious dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. We highly recommend as Conacul Bunicilor as a perfect place to stay when in the area.

All the staff were super friendly and ready to help with anything. The location is great, right at the entrance to the cave. Also, a lot of via ferrata tracks are starting behind the villa. Big parking in front of the property. The room was ok and very clean, but nothing spectacular. Definitely would recommend.
