Facing the beachfront, Sabai Beach Resort offers 3-star accommodation in Ko Mak and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. The staff was super helpful all the time and nice people :) Rooms were clean and well AC'd, no need to worry about insects here so for me that means a good night sleep, also the most lovely dogs 😍

TK Beach Resort Koh Mak sijaitsee Koh Makilla 700 metrin päässä Ao Soun Yai Beachiltä. Majoituspaikassa on baari, puutarha ja ilmainen yksityinen pysäköintialue. Rannalla ihana bungalow. Skootterin vuokraus ja snorklaus retki järjestyi hyvin respasta. Vene liput saimme viereisestä hotellista. Ihana paikka rentoutumiseen.

Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, omistaja Pepe kova juttelemaan ja järjestelemään kuljetuksia ym Syrjäisen sijainnin vuoksi skootteri lähes välttämätön, jotka hotelli tarjosi edullisesti. Location is not by the beach, but close to all the restaurants and bars. Nearest beach is like 10 minutes walk. Staff is very nice and friendly. Internet was ok for video calls and work. Good value for money.

Upon arrival, I was captivated by the expansive outdoor area, which includes a large patio right on the beach and a spacious balcony with a big dining table (perfect for game nights and inviting new friends over). There’s even an outdoor bed to relax on after a day at the beach. The room itself is quite large, comfortable, and surrounded by big windows that offer panoramic sea views. The bathroom is adequately sized with hot water, and basic toiletries are provided. The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, dishes, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Moreover, the landlady, So (Natida), is wonderful. Booking this place not only means a great stay but also getting to know So. She goes above and beyond—from arranging bike rentals delivered right to your door to handling your laundry and maintaining the cleanliness of the hut. So is always there for her guests, genuinely caring about your experience and offering help whenever needed. She's truly a special person. Note that I initially planned to stay for 14 days and ended up extending it to 45 days. That’s how perfect this place and the island are!
