Everything is within a 10 minute or less walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part about this particular hotel though is the owner, Tuu. He was incredibly welcoming and generous. From the coffee every morning, excellent recommendations, and helping coordinate my transportation to the Trat airport, I felt so well taken care of during my 2 night stay. If I find myself in Trat again, this is the only place I’ll be staying.

Seree and her parter made us feel right at home, so welcoming and warm. They were so helpful and had some really great chats. The drinks and music was also amazing! Very clean, big fridge with freezer in the room. The couple who run the Rynn are the most helpful and lovely people you could wish to meet. Set in the old town near bars and restaurants. 50m from the walking street. I think they will be a big success as the are the perfect hosts. The rooms are large suites with each having an individual boutique feel. Loved it.

You can rent motorbikes at the property and drive to Bang Bao beach in 4 minutes. Many other beaches and restaurants also close by. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night to go to the islands Koh Mak and Koh Kood. I find Trat province interesting and would love to come back to explore this province. Very kind and soft spoken people, completely different from Bangkok. The service was great and to my expectation. The area where we stayed in is close to the commercial area of restaurants, wall paintings/murials and other things.

At Sylvan we got engaged and the staff here is nothing but world class and our engagement dinner at the beach lacked nothing! They have a perfect mix of Thai staff that goes the extra mile with details not possible to get at home without unlimited budget and the European staff like ”Dima” who has an eagle eye getting to know guests and fixing the extras that is so vital to get that feeling you are special! Beautiful small boutique hotel - we rented 2 villas for our family and enjoyed the beach, nice food in the hotel restaurant and overall ambiance. There is a nice swimming pool in the hotel and you can take a boat or kayak for free if you like.
