It is beautifully designed and set right at the foothills of the mountains so had a great feel to it. The breakfast is also definitely worth it. Most importantly, the owner went above and beyond to help us when we got into a spot of trouble so we felt very taken care of and appreciated that! Would recommend friends stay here.

Delicious breakfast and coffee, amazing details like cultural tour and music nights, so close to stunning Taroko Gorge and even pick up service from the train station Xincheng - couldn't be better. Hualien Taroko Mountain Dream B&B is located in Hualien, only a 5-minute walk from Taroko National Park. All rooms here will offer beautiful mountain views. Free WiFi access is available. The entire building is simple, spacious and elegant. Our Japanese futon style room is spacious, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom is very spacious too. The host served their home-made yogurt every morning which was very yummy. The breakfast was fresh and filing, wonderful for fueling our day of hiking in the park. The host couple is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great too. Very close to the park as well as to nearby towns for food and shopping. We loved this place and will go back again.
