Tan Swiss Lodge is located in Mikumi and offers a garden. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms and also in public areas. Booked two nights at Tan-Swiss for my daughter and me for a one day safari in Mikumi. We chose Tan-Swiss because they had a pool. The staff organized free pick up from our bus stop and gave us a very warm welcome. Tan-Swiss offered comfortable rooms, delicious food and a good breakfast, even though there were too few guests to have the regular breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, helped to watch my child while she swam and organized the return journey with a reliable bus company. They also helped us to organize a single day safari with an experienced guide. Tan-Swiss is an excellent choice for anyone traveling to mikumi.

There was no hot water but we liked it cold :) Little bit of bumpy road leading to a campsite.

Tausi herself is a real treasure. So helpful, knows everyone and helps you with organizing everything you want. She also helped us a lot to arrange the rest of our trip. Voyage Village is little bungalows in really calm grounds basically in the bush, where sometimes you can spot wild animals (e.g. baboons, zebra). I could imagine the place being perfect for honeymoon too. A big plus also is the food. They cook everything freshly, and customize everything according to your wishes (for example vegetarian / vegan). Also it's not only rice and beans but an amazing variety of fresh food. Moreover the staff is really nice and friendly. Would definitely go there again without thinking twice!!
