The hospitality, the ambience, the cleanliness, the location - everything is spot on! The design of the hotel I loved - it’s a new hotel but incorporates the es essence and details of the historical Zanzibar. I’ve stayed in other hotels in Stone town, and many tend to be old and made from wood, which provides you ambience but is prone to insects. Here most furnitures are concrete with some wood and it balances perfectly. I would love to return. The staff are extremely welcoming and will accommodate your needs.

Shoki Shoki house was booked last minute for 3 night and it did not disappoint. The general manager, David, was very helpful and honest when we sat down to ask him about the island and Serengeti safari. The property did not disappoint and the location was ideal, a close walk to the beach, the market and restaurants. It is clean, the staff is pleasant, the breakfast is delish, and the overall experience was extremely positive. Asante Sana to everyone at the HOUSE.

Mizingani Seafront Hotel is situated just a 2-minute walk from the Zanzibar Ferry Terminal. The hotel offers a restaurant, outdoor pool and 24-hour front desk. The hotel is perfect! Would 100% recommend staying here. The rooms and facilities are fantastic - the pool area is brilliant too and has shaded areas(in the sister hotel in the beach not the same property). It is in the best location too so you can walk to all the restaurants and bars. It is also about a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is ideal for trips as well. The host is lovely and really looks after you. The breakfast is fantastic - the fruit is so fresh! We also ate lunch here a few times, and the food was fantastic, especially the shrimp/octopus curry.

The room was excellent - although the bathroom was a bit leaky nothing major all aspects of our stay were excellent the staff are wonderful and I really enjoyed our second stay!
