Fabulous location and spectacular food, all the staff very friendly. Thanks to his knowledge, Hamza was very helpful in organising our activities and even gave us valuable advice on how to continue our trip. His wife was also very kind and took us for a walk and to get to know the community, we saw the cocoa plants, a beautiful viewpoint over a lovely lake and of course we were able to visit the orphanage which is two minutes away from the accommodation; the children are so sweet and it’s incredible what Hamza and his family have managed to build to give these children a better future. Songbird Safari Lodge & Campsite features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Katunguru. Great family-run place. Elephants and other animals around the place. Great food, good wifi. Highly recommended!

Located in Bushenyi, Buffalo Safari Lodge features a garden, terrace, shared lounge, and free WiFi. Among the various facilities are a bar and a restaurant. The cottages are very clean and spacious. Together with the pool and sitting area it really is a fantastic place to stay. The staff is super friendly and the food was the best we have had in Uganda.

My husband and I stayed at Elephant Home last week and would highly recommend it as a great base to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park and the surrounding local community. Profits from the hotel go directly into funding community projects which the staff is happy to share more information about. The community manager was a great resource in sharing information and we enjoyed both the vanilla farming tour as well as the Kazinga Channel boat cruise. The staff were all friendly and courteous, the food was delicious, and the location is just on the other side of QENP.
