The motel was very homey and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the towels were fluffy, there were flannel sheets on the bed, and an interesting coffee-making system that brewed strong coffee. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Situated in the town of Big Pine,one hour away from Mount Whitney and the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. Starlight Motel features BBQ facilities and free WiFi throughout the property. It was conveniently located for our purpose on this visit. The young woman, Joy, who checked us in was pleasant and professional, and knowledgeable.

Located along scenic Highway 395, Independence Courthouse Motel is just 5 minutes’ walk from Inyo County Eastern California Museum. Guests can take advantage of free WiFi and BBQ facilities. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed for people on the road. The staff was really friendly and gave us great recommendations. Would definitely recommend!
