I travel frequently, LaPLaya is one of the cleanest and nicest motels I have stayed. It’s is immaculately clean, the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when I come here. Perfect!!!

Built in 1874, this Victorian bed and breakfast is surrounded by lush landscaped gardens and 3 blocks of city parks. It features gourmet breakfast and evening wine tastings. The venue is in fact a Victorian house turned bed and breakfast. The renovation work was excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and it is not unusual to spot a rabbit and birds during the breakfast on the porch. The breakfast by the way is delicious and clearly cooked carefuly for each guest and not mass produced as in ordinary hotels. The staff is extremely cordial and thoughtful. The house itself is within walking distance from attractions such as the Presidio, the old mission building and the courthouse, and also near State street, where you can find trendy shops. In all, it was the best hotel in my California roadtrip from San Francisco to LA.

Located 10 minutes’ walk from Central Santa Barbara, this hotel serves daily hot breakfast with egg dishes and organic fruit. All unique guest rooms offer free Wi-Fi. Free guest parking is available. We enjoyed staying in the Santa Catalina cottage. It was lovely. We walked everywhere. Never even took the car out while staying there for four days. Loved the location, being near the ocean but also only a few minutes walk to town. The staff were helpful and attentive. Really, nothing to complain about, which is unusual for me!! ;)

This Santa Barbara, California hotel is located 3 miles from Stearn’s Wharf on the Pacific Ocean. The hotel offers free WiFi and cable TV in every room. The place is nice, good location, comfy beds, free parking. Our room was upgraded for free, so I do not need to say more.. :) Would recommend, Sanra Barbara was amazing.

Very clean, comfortable bed, and a wonderful desk lady. On top of that, it’s only a couple of minutes to the beach and half an hour walk or a few minutes drive to the center of the city. Area felt really safe. It did not feel like your usual motel, it felt higher rank! Overall lovely place, would highly recommend.
