Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. The lodge exceeded our expectations; it is so big and clean, and there was a coffee machine. The cabin was adorably decorated. "I loved the vintage sewing machine table!" and we got a fireplace which was a lovely addition to the cebine. The host was welcoming and friendly. They left us a little congratulations note with some chocolate. Thank you for the nice gesture.

The Coachman Hotel is set in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant. Warm and feeling welcome here. Good choice for people who would like or not like to ski. I enjoy the comfort lobby and could always found a small place with nice wifi connection for vibing alone. They provided simple but nice meals for those who doesn't want to go out, there are several good restaurants near by tho. There is a kettle for heating up water in the room, also some good coffee and tea bags. Showers are nice and water is hot enough. Also they provided big one hairdryer so it's easy to get long hair dry in a short minutes.

Situated directly across the street from Lake Tahoe, Hotel Azure is just 3.2 km from Heavenly Ski Resort. A seasonal outdoor pool and a café are located on-site. All rooms feature free WiFi. I loved the location and how the hotel had discounts with other local businesses. The room itself was modern and clean and just as each picture showed on the internet.

A great little place in a great location for a great price. There's restaurants nearby and lots of places to walk to. You can also borrow bicycles from them to explore more freely.
