De Kloof Heritage estate is a Cape Dutch boutique hotel and spa , is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Swellendam. It has a 12-metre outdoor pool and spa with panoramic mountain views. Beautiful traditional thatched buildings set in beautifully maintained gardens. Our cottage was spacious and tastefully decorated. Water bed was sensational. I think that was my second experience of a water bed and loved it. Jocelyn and Linda were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and some lovely choices of continental and cooked dishes. Walking distance to the town, delightful cafes and restaurants. The museum is a must visit. Roy, the owner was very kind and interested in our well being. Pool was sensational!!!🤣

Set in Swellendam, within 1.5 km of Swellendam Golf Course and 1.7 km of Drostdy Museum, De Oude Pastorie offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi as well as free private... An excellent accommodation! All new and well maintained. The owners have a great taste, they thought about everything, till the small details. We were sorry we couldn't stay longer. Well recommended!

Just about everything!! Location was amazing with great pool and alongside a river overlooking the mountains. Secure parking and neighbourhood. Purpose built rooms with loads of space. Quiet, secure with a friendly host - probaby the best guest house we've stayed in South Africa or elsewhere.

Located just 1 km from Drostdy Museum, Aquaelberg Place provides accommodation in Swellendam with access to free bikes, barbecue facilities, as well as luggage storage space. The attention to details that the owners of this beautiful house are paying is just amazing and making for a wonderful stay at Aquaelberg Place. The owners, the house, garden and breakfast were just superb and we'd book again without hesitation.

Dolittle Cottages is set in Swellendam and has a pool with a view and mountain views. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. We were just driving through and needed a place to stay. The hostess was lovely and accommodating. The unit is fully equipped nice kitchen, braai and the rooms are comfy with a backup generator. As a bonus (if you like animals) there were donkeys sheep and chickens to hang out with. Would stay there again anytime.

Boasting garden views, La Sosta features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, around 2 km from Swellendam Golf Course. We have recently stayed at La Sosta and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. The room we stayed in was absolutely adorable - it was cosy, comfortable and had all the amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail in the room decor was impressive, making it the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. What truly made our stay special was the restaurant at the property. The meals were some of the most delicious and intricate I've ever had - each dish was a true work of art, and every bite was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I was blown away by the creativity and skill of the chefs. But what really set this property apart from the rest was the kindness and professionalism of Salvatore and Nina. You can see that they put their heart and soul in everything they make, which is something rare and beautiful. I cannot recommend this property enough - it's the perfect place for anyone looking for a cozy retreat with fantastic food and amazing hospitality. Thank you Salvatore and Nina for making our stay so memorable! :)

Set in Swellendam, less than 1 km from Drostdy Museum and 2.8 km from Swellendam Golf Course, The Upper Deck Apartment offers a garden and air conditioning. We stopped in Swellendam on our way from the airport to the Garden Route, so the location was not a destination for us. The Upper Deck was welcoming, clean, and relaxing. We appreciated the spacious apartment, with much more to offer than we needed in terms of utensils and household items. The upper deck itself (outside the apartment) has cozy seating and would be something we would enjoy on a longer stay, but we did not spend enough time on this trip. We slept well, despite some slight occasional noise from the road. The breakfast was delicious, including hot items, and got us ready for the day.
