Located in Ine, 16 km from Manai Shrine and 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine, 海蔵寺 宿坊 櫻海 provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Our host welcome was fantastic, despite a much earlier arrival than planned. The room, which is in fact a building inside the small temple complex, is huge and would host 4 peoples without feeling cramped at all. The bathroom is very big and modern. No dinner option but our host had booked for us at an excellent fish restaurant 100 meters away (Yoshimuraya), and even waited for us when we made our first stroll in Ine Funaya to propose to anticipate our reservation, as he could see we were hungry :). Breakfast brought to our room was excellent. In the morning we had a small walk in the cemetary which is also in the temple complex, climbed a little bit to have a viewpoint (just above the room) and we met a family of deers - this stay was wonderful !

Ryokan tradizionale, gestito da personale gentilissimo e disponibile ad ogni richiesta, silenzioso anche se in centro al quartiere di Gino, spaziosa la stanza con un angolo giardino, grandissimo bagno con Onsen privato, una meraviglia!

The Japanese breakfast was very nice but we opted to have most of our breakfasts at the cafe with the supplied voucher, which was also quite good. The location is excellent, very quiet, beautiful and full of points of interest and also within walking distance of big shopping centers. Very nice and helpful staff.

Situated in Kyoto, 800 metres from Heian Shrine, 明和荘Mei Wa Inn features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The host was absolutely helpful in planning my itinerary for the short stay. I loved everything about the Inn. It's a little far from the main Kyoto station, but bus rides are very easily available. Good value for money with all the amenities provided.

Situato in una posizione incantevole nel centro di Kyoto, l'Auberge AZABU offre camere climatizzate, un ristorante, il WiFi gratuito e un bar. Auberge AZABU is a family-run "hotel" near the Gojo Tube Station. The whole family is lovely and they will take good care of you. The location is convenient as it's just 2 min from Gojo Station (tube) and in 5 minutes you are at Kyoto Station. The hotel is very nice, architecture and furniture take probably inspiration from the traditional ryokans so you will have the feeling to sleep in a traditional Japanese house even if modernised. We slept on the futon bed and it was soooo comfortable (first time for me sleeping on a futon bed). We had the breakfast included and it was what we needed to start the day. I liked Kyoto and the place so much that I decided to stay an extra night so this is indicative of how comfortable it's been
