Everything about The Shanghai EDITION was impeccable — service was great start to finish, with the manager being on the ground, to attentive staff all round; decor was also tasteful and amenities aplenty. I am already planning my next visit!

The Peninsula Shanghai is located directly opposite The Bund and a 5-minute walk from East Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Shopping District. It features a large indoor pool, a spa and a fitness... This is a beautifully atmospheric hotel that, for us, more than lived up to its reputation. It was my fiancée's birthday, and we were generously upgrade to a wonderful suite with spectacular river views. Gorgeous roses, chocolates and a birthday cake added the perfect finishing touch. The staff were all extremely professional and friendly throughout - especially Mr Danny Hu, who warmly welcomed us and introduced us to our suite, bringing a real personalised feel to our stay. Finally, breakfast in the impressive lobby was luxurious with excellent service.

With over 9 decades of history, the iconic Fairmont Peace Hotel was a favourite with the local elite and foreign celebrities, including Charlie Chaplin. The architecture and design are like no other. The hotel is very beautifully done - modern in every way, but a step back in time to the early twentieth century as well. The pastries at the coffee shop downstairs are a fabulous treat and the concierges and front desk staff very helpful.

Set in Huangpu District in Shanghai, 900 metres from Yu Garden or the Bund, Campanile Shanghai Bund Hotel features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. excellent staff service!! everyone was friendly and nice, very quick response to any requests. it was a pleasant stay. good price for the value room was also very clean. the ground floor offers European style breakfast you could get croissant scrambled egg etc and also Chinese rice porridge. 10 mins walk to the bund and easy access to the city centre. highly recommended
