Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hong KongThe entrance of the hotel was a bit difficult to find on the road, we missed it on our first attempt and had to run a big circle to dirve there again. Perhaps a bigger/clearer signpost can help. The parking slot was safe and easy though.
The room was clean and spacious, staff were welcoming and helpful. We had dinner at the michellin-starred restaurant and that was very nice!!! Waiters were attentive and friendly, food was of good quality and the atmosphere was nice.

When we arrived at 6pm there was obviously a shortage of staff and what we really wanted was a long cold beer. Breakfast is expensive for what is provided. Not a 5* hotel as you would know it in the UK

Clean big suite, dog & toddler friendly, nice stop-off point from the ferry. Accommodating night porter who didn’t mind us ordering drinks after the bar shut :-) Michelin started restaurant which we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to dine in, but will next time! Easy parking.

United KingdomWe were a little surprised that both desserts were served together, even though the menu said this would happen. Also why no wine pairing with the desserts, of the option of one? We had an attic room which felt a little cramped.
We had the tasting menu which included four fish courses, a choice of two mains and two desserts, together with the wine pairing. The food and wine were excellent both in taste and presentation. Superb!

I wish I had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, but perhaps in the future, they'll have a vegan menu, but this is a fantastic stay in the surprisingly vibrant city of Caen. The room interior design seemed a little under 5-star standards but everything was clean and neat.

United StatesIt's a bit of a hike (2 km) to the nearest tourist spot- the not-to-be-missed Abbaye aux Hommes. There is an attached Michelin starred restaurant but being too tired to deal with a drawn out dinner, I was glad there was a room service option. I would have been better off walking to another restaurant- took over 90 min to deliver a really bad croque monsieur. Also- the hotel is rated as 5 stars but it rooms are simply just above average.
The hotel had parking which was a plus. Better than average breakfast. Staff- especially front desk- was exceptionally helpful and pleasant.
