“I am simply amazed - I thought that places like that (especially near so popular Etna) don't exist anymore. It really has that unique climate of mountain shelters but it also offers everything you need to have a good time: great food, beer and water and - most importantly - amazing, helpful stuff. Do not overpay in other places! Here you're about 7 minutes from the start of Etna excursions, you have a lot of parking space and you get your peace and quiet!”
“We chose to stay out of Catania on our way to Mt Etna which is about 30 mins from Villa Casina dell'Etna. We want to relax with a swim and this place ticked the boxes. The hosts were great and let us check in early. Breakfast was also very good and a home made cake delicious along with meats, scones, eggs, croissants and cappacino and juice. The host made us complementary rolls for lunch to go which was an added extra. Plenty of good restaurants in close driving distance, noting Monday's some are closed.

“Peaceful location. Silence and closeness to the nature. They have a lovely playground and outdoor seating areas, which I can imagine would be perfect for a family / group retreat.
The room is of decent size, tastefully decorated and very clean.
Having a restaurant onsite is also a plus, given its remote location. We had a very good home cooked dinner in the restaurant.
The hosts, Tancredi family (including their cute, friendly dog), are very hospitable, kind and communicative. We would definitely return next time we are in the area.”
“This house Is a true Oasis after an Etna experience. The beautiful view from the terrace together with the beer the owner greeted us with, were wonderful. A great home-like atmosphere with owners who trully care how u feel in their house. We also appreciated chatting with Umberto about his life-long experience of being a guide at Etna. And we were sorry we had not known Umberto had his tourguide company ať Etna. We would have gone up with him and learned from him. Breakfast was quite lavish. Homecake from Umberto's wife delicious. We greatly recommend this accomodation and we definetely will come back! Thank u”
