Top notch staff on every department level, reception staff highly professional yet makes you feel home right away, Concierge always satisfies client no matter how challenging the request might be, bar staff both in lobby as in the bar is very attentive to servicing you, housekeeping extremely efficient and polite.

The hotel was beautiful and the lobby was very welcoming. Concierge staff was outstanding...actually, all of the staff were terrific. Our room was quite sufficient in size as was the bathroom. Very comfortable and the housekeeping was superior. Noise from the room next door was very loud into the late hours of the evening on one night. Other than that, the room was quite comfortable.

The room was exceptionally well appointed, comfortable, very accurate AC system and a marble spa-like bathroom.

Need to be careful taking a shower. You're standing in a bathtub with slanted walls. YOu might slip while getting in or out.

Service staff were sometimes rude, which might come with the territory of staying at a hotel where some guests are famous and some guests appear to be nobodies. In some cases, I felt like I was bothering them if I tried to ask them to do anything (in particular, calling for room service was a very unpleasant experience). Also, they would forget things that should go without saying - why was there only one card to fill out to order breakfast for four nights? The lights were confusing to use in places and I couldn’t find a light that worked for the toilet area of the bathroom. The room was nice, but a little outdated. These are all minor things, but together create the impression that the place is rather overpriced. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels for a lot less money, which tells you you’re paying for something else.

This is a luxury property, a place to see and be seen. I mostly felt very taken care of, and got very good sleep every night. I really liked the spa, although I didn’t have much time to use it. Milan is a great city that I wish I got to see more of, and this hotel is centrally located. The shower had great water pressure. Turn-down service was nice when I wanted it, and I had the option to decline (which I appreciate because sometimes I find it quite unnecessary). The food and drinks were exceptional.
