“Beautiful, authentic, very relaxing stay. Would recommend for couples as it has the opportunity for private onsen baths which were so nice (there are also public onsens). The rooms were really spacious and tea services were provided in the rooms. The dining experience was really unique with all of the separate dishes and super high quality. The town is small so whilst I'm sure there are other places to eat, there is no need to do that. Also super fun to go to the panorama park and get brilliant photos of Mount Fuji.”

“The Honjin is a very nice, traditional style hotel in Izunokuni. The property is in a very quiet location and very well maintained. The two Onsen facilities were most welcoming and the cave onsen quite unique. The Japanese breakfast was superb. I will be recommending this property to others.”

“Takehashi, Hisako and the other staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and more. This property is location in an Olsen district of Izunokuni, where it is very quiet and peaceful. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was very good. Takehashi was kind enough to drive my luggage to another hotel nearby, as I had to switch properties part of the way through my stay in Izunokumni. And the Onsen was great.”
