“Lovely staff made the stay very pleasant. They were always ready to help with explanations, umbrellas or extra pillows, and friendly greetings. They also dealt efficiently with receiving and sending our luggage to Tokyo. Amenities include a very useful laundry room; a free hot/cold drinks machine and a small kitchen in the lobby; and a terrace with chairs on the top floor. Location is good too (half an hour's walk from Kyoto train station, but close to Gion and Kiyomizu-dera temple).”
“Staff were exceptional, assisted us whenever we needed it. The hotel has a happy hour for guests so you can socialise. They offer drinks for the kids and a coffee machine, all of which got good use by us. The rooms were very comfortable, we had a 3 bedroom unit for our stay. Kitchen was handy to have and the table and living area were a decent size. Highly recommend this hotel. You’re close to Nishiki market, the bus and train, to get around all the sights. Should out to Alizee who works at reception, she’s extremely helpful. Tomomi who also works at the front counter had a calligraphy business and runs experiences in the lobby, well worth it!”
“It was perfect. I enjoyed my stay and had loads of fun for my bday celebration. The staff was very accommodating and was considerate enough to throw a surprise greeting for my birthday. Loved the whole stay! I would very much go back.”
“The room is big and the location is very convenient”
“The two bedroom apartment was very well appointed, nicely decorated, good amenities, very clean. The beds were comfortable and the washing machine was very handy. The location is great, very central and close to the subway. We very much enjoyed being able to relax in the apartment after long days exploring Kyoto.”
“Excellent location in the heart of Kyoto.
Hotel room was tidy and large enough to accomodate us despite our big luggage.
Staff was very helpful to sort out a problem with our luggage transport.
Nice onsen open all night.”
“I was very pleasantly surprised!
Clean and comfortable rooms.
The staff is very helpful and pleasant.
Great "experiences" like gin tasting, short movies, and a cool library to sit and relax.
The communal kitchen was well maintained.
++”
“Great cost benefit, right across a JR station, in the middle of Kyoto. #5 mins to Gion or 35 to Arashiyama.”
“Price was affordable due to the long stay. Not so many facilities, though. But the staff was still kind and helpful. Adequate enough if you're in a tight budget. All necessities required are available.”
